Just a little about myself...
I was born and raised in Southern Alberta, and later took my training in Education at the University of Calgary. I taught and was a school principal for a number of years around Calgary and in schools around Red Deer at Bentley, Lacombe, and Clive. I retired from education in 1994 and I am now enjoying working for Totem Building Supplies in Red Deer for the past few years. I was appointed a Marriage Commissioner in 1997 and have performed hundreds of weddings since that time.
I have six children and twelve grandchildren. One daughter is in Thunderbay, Ontario, one daughter is in Killarney, Manitoba, two sons in Drumheller, one son in Sylvan Lake and one daughter in Red Deer. I enjoy my children and grandchildren as much as the distance and time permits.
I enjoy travelling as much as I can and have been to Mexico, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, and a number of places in Canada. I like to golf recreationally, and I also curl in the winter. I am also interested in woodworking and handicrafts.
I am active in my church and also participate in other community activities, and those activities connected with my children and grandchildren.
I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, as a Marriage Commissioner, and am privileged to be a part of their special day. It is always my intentionand hope to make this 'day' a very special and memorable one for each and every couple.
