Just a little about myself...
I was born and raised in Southern Alberta, and later took my training in Education at the University of Calgary. I taught and was a school principal for a number of years around Calgary and in schools around Red Deer at Bentley, Lacombe, and Clive. I retired from education in 1994 and I am now enjoying working for Totem Building Supplies in Red Deer for the past few years. I was appointed a Marriage Commissioner in 1997 and have performed hundreds of weddings since that time.
I have two children and three grandchildren. One daughter in Killarney, Manitoba, and one daughter in Sherwood Park. I enjoy my children and grandchildren as much as the distance and time permits.
I enjoy travelling as much as I can and have been to Mexico, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, and a number of places in Canada. I like to golf recreationally, and I also curl in the winter. I am also interested in woodworking and handicrafts.
I am active in my church and also participate in other community activities, such as dancing and dinner theater.
I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, as a Marriage Commissioner, and am privileged to be a part of their special day. It is always my intention and hope to make this 'day' a very special and memorable one for each and every couple.
